Submission FAQ's

Q. How do I submit my students’ art and written work for publication?

A. Perform the following steps:

  1. Download the Parental Release Form here.

  2. Send this to the Parents of the Student who’s work you want to submit for publication . (We must receive a form fully filled out and signed by a guardian to consider work for publication.)

  3. Send unfolded the original or high quality color copy of the work that you wish to submit for publication to :

    Phoenix , AZ 85022

  4. Please include your name and school address so that LilSab Publications, LLC can send you a letter verifying receipt of the work sent for submission. Anticipate receipt of this letter within four (4) weeks of the date it was sent.

  5. Please consider sending a photograph of the child who has created the submission to be included in the magazine.

    (Note: If you are a teacher or principal and you have additional questions or would like to request Something Real... visit your school please send your requests via email to : ).

  2. Send unfolded the original or high quality color copy of the work that you wish to submit for publication to :

Q. Will I receive my child or student's art/written work or photograph back in the mail?

A. No, unfortunately due to the volume of submissions we receive it is not feasible for LilSab Publications, LLC to return any work or photographs.

Q. When will my child or student’s art or written work appear in your magazine?

A. The soonest date that your child/student’s work can appear in Something Real… magazine would be three (3) months after submission.

Q. What type of written or art work are you looking for ?

LilSab Publications is looking for any creation that comes from the heart and hands of a child eighteen and under. For more information check Submission Guidelines.

Q. Will we be notified of our child/student’s acceptance in an edition of Something Real… magazine?

A. Yes, a letter will be sent to the address you have provided stating that your child/student will be published in a specific’s month’s edition of Something Real… magazine.

Q. How can we receive a copy that our child/student has been published in?

A. LilSab Publications, LLC will send you one copy to the address you have provided. Additional copies are available at a cost of $3.00 per copy.
